Council on Aging interviews one finalist as second director candidate is postponed

WELLESLEY — January 7, 2026 — Wellesley Council on Aging interviews one of two senior services director finalists. At a Jan. 7 special meeting, Kristine Tilton, longtime executive director at Waterstone at Wellesley, told the 11-member board she has more than 25 years in senior living across independent living, assisted living and memory care. "I do have a financial background, although my passion really is to be with people and working with seniors," Tilton said. Chair Judy Gertler informed members that the second finalist, Hollie Lucht, would not be interviewed that evening due to administrative issues and would be rescheduled for the following week. Secretary Pat Decker opened the meeting; the board adjourned 11-0 at 4:48 p.m. without voting on the appointment. Kathy Savage continues as acting director.
