Town renews call for Bylaw Review Committee volunteers
WELLESLEY — The town is renewing its call for Town Meeting members to join the General Bylaw Review Committee, the lone fresh item from official channels heading into the first week of June.
TOWN HALL
The town's News Flash posted an updated notice Monday seeking Town Meeting members willing to serve on the General Bylaw Review Committee. The committee is the standing group that combs through Wellesley's general bylaws for revisions to bring before Town Meeting. Interested members can review the posting at wellesleyma.gov/CivicAlerts.aspx?aid=2851.
SCHOOLS
Registration for the 2026-27 school year remains open across Wellesley Public Schools for new students entering grades K-12, the district reminded families on its homepage. Children who turn 5 on or before Aug. 31, 2026, are eligible for kindergarten, and the district is urging families to register as soon as possible. The district's 2024-25 Progress Report and the School Committee-voted FY27 budget — posted Feb. 4 — also remain available on the WPS site for residents tracking school finances and outcomes.
